Brewery Tours of Temecula News

We are huge supporters of law enforcement. In fact several of our tour guides are active and retired police officers.

That being said we are a strong supporter of the constitution and the right to drive unmolested in the United States of America.

DUI check points have been proven generally ineffective and a waste of tax payer dollars.

If anyone is caught drunk on the road they should absolutely be taken to jail and given a DUI.

However if you are just trying to get home you shouldn't have to wait in a 30 minute line just to do so.

If police want to bust drunk drivers why not just sit in front of bars at 2am? Would that make too much sense? Or just cost the tax payers a lot less money?

Realistically DUI check points are there to make the public feel better. But in reality they really don't accomplish much.

All of this being said don't drink and drive, it's not worth it!

Ballast Point Brewing Company known for their great craft beers such as the world class Sculpin IPA and Grapefruit Sculpin is coming to Temecula!

Ballast Point will soon be one of our stops on our brewery tours upon request.

Look for Ballast Point to open on the corner of Rancho California Road and Diaz Road. It is where the former Captains Cabin restaurant was located.

At the current time the building is being renovated. Grand opening will be announced soon so keep checking back!

If you have been to San Diego you know there are a ton of great breweries in San Diego County! If you have yet to visit the Temecula Valley Breweries you are missing out!

What is unique about the Temecula Valley Breweries is that there are about 8 breweries all within a few miles of each other. All of the breweries in Temecula are very good and are very much worth the short trip from San Diego!

In San Diego most of the breweries are scattered all over the county. If you have taken a brewery tour in San Diego you probably drove a good 20+ minutes in between stops. In Temecula you are only 5 minutes away from any of the breweries so you will be spending more time at the breweries than driving around in a bus!

If you are not familiar with Temecula, it is located literally 2 minutes from north San Diego County. It is right on the border of Riverside and San Diego Counties. You can get to Temecula in 40 minutes from virtually anywhere in San Diego.

While you are in Temecula there are many other things to do besides brewery tours.

Check out Old Town Temecula which is loaded with fun bars and restaraunts as well as unique shops, wine tasting bars, and more!

What a great weekend for us craft beer fans in the Temecula Valley!

Wiens brewing company will be having their 1 year anniversary celebration this Saturday, November 16, 2013 at their brewery from 4-8pm and Ironfire Brewing Company will be having their 1 year anniversary celebration on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Killarney's Irish Pub starting at 1pm in Temecula!

Words really can't describe just how proud we all are of the breweries here in Temecula and all they have accomplished in just one short year. Wiens Brewing Company and Ironfire Brewing Company have become staples in our community and have only been around for a year! The future is not only bright for Wiens and Ironfire but for the craft brewing scene in the Temecula Valley in general!

You have probably seen both Wiens and Ironfire's beers in many stores, restaurants, and bars in and around Riverside, Orange and San Diego Counties. Those beers done just get there by luck. A lot of hard work has gone into building their brands and getting distribution.

We hope everyone in the community makes it out to show their appreciation for both Wiens and Ironfire this weekend.

Craft brewing Company in Lake Elsinore recently celebrated their 3 year anniversary, Black Market Brewing Company celebrated their 4 year anniversary, and Aftershock Brewing Company celebrated their 1 year anniversary.
